Join natural dyer Emmaline Molloy (of Valley Botanicals) and I for an afternoon of indigo dyeing at Tancredi & Morgen in Carmel! We will use organic indigo dye to experiment with traditional Japanese shibori and resist techniques. Participants will learn the process of preparing their fabric along with how to make an indigo vat.

Everyone will receive a set of six napkins and two large hand towels to dye and experiment on. This workshop will take place outside with some shade, wear hats and clothing you don’t mind getting stained - aprons are great! Gloves will be provided. An informational PDF will be included with all dyeing instructions covered in the workshop.

Light refreshments will be served.
